What are Therapy Intensive Programs?

Therapy-intensive programs are condensed, focused therapeutic experiences designed to help clients progress rapidly in areas where they feel stuck or overwhelmed. For 2 hours a week, you will spend more time on your concerns to achieve faster results.

In-Depth Initial Consultation

Before you begin any of our intensives, we start with a comprehensive initial consultation. During this session, we take the time to understand your specific challenges, background, and goals. This consultation helps us create a program that fits your unique needs, including:

  • Your personal history and experiences: Trauma, anxiety, or parenting struggles can look very different from one person to the next. We get to know your story so we can design a program that addresses the root causes and specific challenges you're facing.
  • Current life circumstances: Whether you're a busy parent, managing a career, or dealing with ongoing stressors, we adjust the intensity and scheduling of the program to fit into your life without causing additional strain.
  • Therapy goals: Whether you want to resolve deep-seated trauma, improve your relationship with your child, or learn how to manage anxiety more effectively, we help you set realistic, personalized goals and map out the best way to achieve them.

  • Flexible session frequency: While intensives typically involve 2-3 sessions per week, we adjust this based on your needs. If you need more time to process between sessions, we can spread them out, or if you’re eager for rapid progress, we can schedule closer sessions.
  • Homework and exercises: Based on your preferences and schedule, we assign tailored journaling prompts, mindfulness practices, or at-home exercises that will help you build skills and process emotions outside of sessions. We make sure these tasks are manageable and aligned with your current emotional state.
  • One-on-one coaching: For our parenting and anxiety programs, individualized coaching sessions allow us to provide real-time feedback on the specific situations you’re navigating in your daily life.
